This medication is used to treat a group of blood/bone marrow disorders (myelodysplastic syndromes-MDS) in which the bone marrow does not produce enough healthy blood cells. People with MDS usually have problems such as infections, anemia, and easy bleeding/bruising. Azacitidine is a chemotherapy drug. It is believed to work by helping your bone marrow grow normal blood cells so you will need fewer blood transfusions. Azacitidine also kills abnormal blood cells that have grown too fast and do not work properly.
How to use Azacitidine Vial
This medication is given by injection under the skin or into a vein by a health care professional.
If you are receiving the injection under the skin, your health care professional will change the injection site each time to lessen injury under the skin.
This medication is injected as directed by your doctor, usually once a day for 7 days in a row. A 7-day course of this medication is called a cycle. This cycle is repeated every 4 weeks depending on your response and blood tests.
The dosage is based on your medical condition, body size, lab tests, and response to treatment. Keep all medical/lab appointments.

Gavir 500 Injection 1's belongs to a class of drugs known as 'antiviral,'  which is used to treat viral infections. It plays a vital role in treating Cytomegalovirus Infection in immunosuppressed people (having HIV/AIDS) or who underwent bone marrow or organ transplantation. Cytomegalovirus Infection is a common herpes virus infection with no symptoms or symptoms like fever and fatigue. Severe infection may affect the eyes, brain, or other internal organs. 

Gavir 500 Injection 1's contains ganciclovir, which is an antiviral medication. It works by preventing the multiplication of viruses in human cells by acting on its DNA results in decrease viral overload and production of new viruses. Hence, this helps in clearing up the infection.

Take Gavir 500 Injection 1's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Gavir 500 Injection 1's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending upon your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience nausea, headaches, dizziness, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, increase liver enzymes, injection site reaction, stomach pain. Most of these side effects of Gavir 500 Injection 1's are temporary, do not require medical attention, and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not take Gavir 500 Injection 1's if you are allergic to Gavir 500 Injection 1's, aciclovir or any of its ingredients. Never encourage self-medication or suggest your medicine to someone else. Check with your doctor if you're pregnant, currently breastfeeding or taking any other prescribed or non-prescribed medicines. Use protection while having sexual intercourse to avoid the transfer of infection to your partner. If you have a weak immune system, please inform your doctor before taking Gavir 500 Injection 1's as a dose adjustment may be required.
